Sweet apple pizza and a garden salad. While I was clipping coupons I found this recipe in an Al Fresco Chicken Sausage add. It’s very similar to the fennel chicken sausage pizza I made before. It’s really good, but I probably wouldn’t make it again. It seems there are better things to do with brie cheese instead of this.
Chicken Parmesan burgers, quinoa salad with artichokes and parsley, and green beans with shallots. Everything was really good and easy to prepare except I think the quinoa salad didn’t fit the meal. The parsley made it stick out too much from the others. I used ground turkey instead of chicken, too.
Chicken, mustard greens, and gruyère quesadillas, with leftover vegetarian chili and a garden salad. It pretty much looks the same as yesterday’s dinner, but tastes very different. I forgot to buy mustard greens so I went with spinach instead which I’m assuming was fine. The gruyère cheese was pretty awesome though. I’ve never had that before.
Chicken with Italian sweet-sour fennel, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. I didn’t actually eat this because I went out, so I really don’t know how it tasted. Even though I wasn’t there to eat it, I still made Aya take a picture of it. She said it turned out good. I guess fennel isn’t all that bad after all.
I’ve been really lazy this week with the whole cooking thing. I didn’t plan anything or go grocery shopping. I’ve just been throwing things together. But I was pretty proud of tonight’s creation. Turkey patty melts with mushrooms, green beans, leftover pasta salad, and a garden salad.
RECIPES:
Turkey Patty Melts:
Ingredients:
1lb ground turkey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
1/3 cup Japanese bread crumbs
1 1/2 teaspoons Worscescorcorcer sauce
Mozzerella Cheese
Bread
Fresh mushrooms
1 small onion
1/2 cup beef broth
I mixed the sliced mushrooms and onions together and cooked over medium heat with olive oil. Then I added the beef broth.
Then a mixed the turkey and all that other stuff. Formed into four patties and fired up the Forman grill. Once the patties were cooked. I put them on bread with the cheese and mushrooms and then grilled. Not a bad deal.
